Back yard with seed and straw over the septic lines
Front yard between the driveway and berm.
With the imminent arrival of tropical storm Lee, we felt it was important to get some grass seed, lime and fertilizer on the ground covered in straw to try and minimize some erosion. We used a mix of rye and fescue and are hoping for the best. Tim should be back later this week to help us move the rest of the dirt and finish channeling the water that comes with the rain so it misses the house and doesn't erode the banks. Tomorrow, I plan to celebrate labor day by painting the bathroom in the shop so we can finally hang some fixtures and get it operational. Gotta love progress.
