We spent most of Friday morning moving gravel and smoothing out the land around the house. Tim hauled 5 loads of road bond and laid a nice layer of fresh gravel on the driveway all the way to the house. He then finished grading around the septic tank as much as he could with his crippled back hoe. After further review, we decided it couldn't be fixed locally so he loaded up and headed home so he could get it fixed before the beginning of the week. Lisa and I spent the rest of the day picking up rocks and cleaning up the house as the electrical and plumbing are all roughed in and ready for inspection.

Home sweet home
The grading is close to final but will need a little tweeking. We plan to get some grass seed out on it over the weekend before a rainy Monday hits us. The contractor's plans for the coming week are to get shingles on the roof, start the siding and frame up the deck.
