Company's come

While the guys made some big progress on the house today the most important event today was the arrival of Carrie and Wyatt. Meme wasted no time introducing him to flowers.  We are fortunate enough to have them with us for 12 days and will take full advantage of this grandparent time.

Of course we'll have to ride papa's tractor and explore all over the new house and property. Speaking of the new house, the weather held out today so the roofers made good use of their time and finished enough of the roof that if the weather holds out tomorrow they could be darn close to done.  It was also really exciting to see the siding contractor on site and putting up the cement board siding. As you can see from the photos, they were able to make some good progress on the garage and trimmed out the windows and front door on the porch.

The weather is supposed to be excellent all week so we should really see big progress on the siding. Rumor has it that drywall could be going up as well.  I love this stuff.
