Floor Time

Things are moving along nicely with the floor joists in places and the plywood flooring getting "screwed and glued" in place. Sure makes for a nice, squeak free and sturdy floor.  Anybody for some dancing?

At this rate, we should start to see some walls up in the coming week. The weather has cooperated for the most part although it is raining as I write this. We sure have needed the rain as everything has been a little on the crispy side. We are still harvesting from the garden. Over the weekend we harvested almost three bushels of potatoes,  another gallon or so of blueberries (we're up to 5 gallons in the freezer) plus what we've been eating fresh, all from our own bushes.  We're also beginning to get some black berries and tomatoes and plan to start canning those in the next few weeks. All in all, it's going well, we can hardly wait to see the walls take shape.
