With a little help from the sun and a few strategically drilled holes, our floor will be completely dry and ready for the next stage which is to pour the garage floor and front porch so that they can complete the framing and then set rafters which should all happen in about a week.

All of the interior walls are up and really give us a real idea of how the house will flow. The picture above is of our new master closet. It is four and a half times larger than our current closet and about half the size of our first apartment. We are very pleased with the layout of the house and appreciate our contractors as they have been most helpful. Strange how earlier this week we had temps in the high 90's with heat indexes in the triple digits. Today, the high was 76. Next week temps will be more back in the low 90's. All this rain has played havoc with our tomatoes which are splitting like crazy. It does make pulling weeds easier which we'll be doing tomorrow after church.
