Taking shape

Seeing the house all wrapped in OSB board sure makes a difference. Note that the windows are not necessarily the correct size or shape simply because they let some of the board overlap the window and haven't cut them back to the rough opening. We went by Lowes today and found out that the windows have been delivered and took home color samples of Trex for the screened in porch floor. We'll order the front door tomorrow afternoon. We hope they can get the concrete contractor to pour the garage floor soon so they can finish framing that and then its trusses and roofing.
This is the back corner looking into our bedroom and along the back wall with the kitchen and laundry room door in the distance.
This is the East side which is where the two spare bedrooms are located. The tiny window is over the shower but is really bigger than it looks there, they just haven't finished cutting it out yet.
Here's a teaser of what some of the trim work will look like in the living room and sitting room. We'll have the columns and half walls and the beam across the top to start with.  Hopefully, Uncle Mike will have some time to help us do some of the other fancy stuff as time and our $$$ allows.
