The rock masons were able to finish the rest of the rock work today and boy does it look terrific. That was a major item to be completed and really finishes off the front of the house (except for the brackets that go in the gables). I believe the masons will be putting another coat of cement on the foundation before it gets painted. I'm not sure when that will be completed.

final inspection and approval
The kitchen continued to move forward with several lower cabinets put in place. In addition, the crown molding was installed and really makes it looked finished. While exploring the cabinets tonight, Lisa was like a kid on Christmas morning as she discovered all the cool features she worked so hard to include in her design. I have to admit, they are really cool and beautiful to boot.
As you can see, we will not be without storage in this house as there are drawers upon draws upon cabinet doors everywhere-just as Lisa wants it.
