So, the State buying your house after five years is real, and signing a contract with your contractor to build your dream house is real, and seeing strings and sticks outlining your house is real but.....
Big equipment moving dirt and digging footers, now that is REAL!!! With the threat of rain in the air, we really didn't expect them to get started until maybe Monday so when we showed up this afternoon to drop off a few things at the barn and pick some beans we were pleasantly surprised to see so much activity going on.
Those footers are so nice and clean and straight. The plan is to pour them on Friday morning so they can actually start masonry next week.
This is just amazing to watch and I have to say I am really enjoying watching Lisa through this whole project, she's having a ball! We sign at the lawyers tomorrow and then we're off to the races.
