Well. I guess at least one of the girls is beginning to feel right at home as we got our first egg this morning.Even with the horrible wind and rain last night. The coop looked dry on the inside and the girls were all pretty calm when I let them out a half hour ago. Anyway, at this rate, the first egg costs us about $500.00,( based on cost of coop, feeders, feed, chickens etc.) I guess thats where mass production will bring down costs!
It's pretty small but ok for a first effort.
