As you can see, they have started painting the outside of the house. So far, it is just the two peaks on the front and barn-side of the house but it is progress that was unexpected as they will caulk all joints and seams before paint. I guess the shakes don't have any of those so that could be painted while others did the caulking on the lower boards.

On the inside, they have put a second coat on the living room and master suite and put the first coat of paint on the back bedroom and guest bathroom. It is really starting to take shape and looks great. While all the paint was being spread, the deck was closer to being finished with the railing around the deck completed and the stair railing just needing the spindles installed to call it done.
