Clovis Cuties

We just got home from New Mexico and a fabulous 5 days with Carrie, Travis and the kids. We always enjoy our time out there with them. They are always busy doing things to their home and of course, raising two gorgeous children. This trip in addition to celebrating Wyatt's 2nd birthday and meeting Miss Bayleigh for the first time we got to help do a project or two as well as check off an item from the old bucket list. Travis let me help him brand their steer in preparation for sending him to the "slobber" house. In New Mexico, they require that any beef brought for meet processing must be branded so as to eliminate the possibility of stolen cattle. This IS the West you know.  This just increased my appreciation of Travis and his gifts as he wrestled the steer (all 600 lbs of him) to the ground by himself, and trusted me to hold the steer down while he branded it. We accomplished the task and Jersey will be ready to head of to his future in the freezer in a week or so once the brand heals over.

we also had our annual snow fall in Clovis while we were there which made for some interesting driving taking Wyatt to the hospital in Lubbock to have his tonsils and adenoids removed on the same day we headed home.  The boy is doing well after his surgery, I'm sure the parents and grandparents will take a couple more days to recover. So without further ado, here are photos of the grand kids with an occasional adult mixed in.
Lucky grandparents with two great kids

Don't they fit well together?

We'll stick some more photos up as soon as I go through and find them all.
