A few things to notice in this picture: the concrete is grey and over on the tree line is Tim's generator while on the left is or temporary power pole with no meter installed on Friday morning. a quick call to the building inspector who hadn't been called by the electrician to inspect it. He agreed to inspect it and was there by 10:00 am He then called Duke power who usually takes 48 hours from when the request is put in to install the meter. Our meter was installed and was up and running by 2:00 pm on the same day. Tell me there aren't angels.
The red stuff at the bottom of this picture is what we like to affectionately call "dirt" but is really more closely related to glue or bondo- it sticks to everything. Our beautifully finished floors were quickly turning into a veritable sea of goo. Yuck.
So here we are at the end of Friday with all of the walls standing and the two gable ends installed and ready to go. It's starting to look like it might be something. Notice that there is still a lot of stuff piled under those tarps that all have to go on the building before it's finally done.
