If you'll notice the similarities between this photo and the one at the top of the blog you"ll see what we've been up to the past couple of weeks. Yes, it's true, we've got soffit and fascia complete on three sides and will complete the far end sometime this week. What a difference it makes; my knees tell me it's making a difference for them as well although not as good. I will get a better picture when the sky is blue- not that we are complaining about the overcast: it's what let us get this side completed without passing out from heat stroke.
This last shot is of part of our harvest this week, a nice bunch of purple and sweet yellow onions. Lisa also harvested a bunch of beets, a large bag of green beens and a basket of cucumbers just perfect for pickling. Our lettuce is just about finished and we have already started giving away zucchini. Don't leave your car unlocked at church or you might get "gifted". Our plans for the recently vacated garden spots are for a fresh round of crowder peas.
