The finish line is in sight

As you can see, we are finally finishing the trim on the barn. A friend from church loaned us his scaffolding so we could finish fascia and soffit. The front near the road is complete and we will have the section over the garage door done tomorrow.  In the picture above, Lisa is putting a coat of paint on the recently wrapped corners.  we should have all of them installed tomorrow as well. I can't tell you how good it feels to finally have all of this completed. We also have someone who will bring us several loads of dirt to level out the area in front of the barn so we can spread gravel.  I thought/hoped it was coming today but guess it will come the first of the week. This will finally let us put the camper under the shed roof we built to house it.
Here it is with the finished soffit and fascia on the road side of the barn. You can also see the scaffolding, which has been a real life saver. Thanks Joe!!!! Since this picture was taken on Saturday, we were also able to wrap the corners with 1X4s. They're painted the same color as the rest of the barn but WE know their there.
On Sunday we were able to put the soffit and fascia on the front of the barn as well. If not for a determined wasp nest at the peak of the far end, we would of had that side completed as well. A can of Hot Shot is in our/their future so we can get on with this project.  It sure feels good to get all of this done. By the way, Lisa installed all of the soffit on the side with the garage door.  I am sure lucky to have such a willing partner.
